Position Summary:
The Lockwood Group is a leading provider of logistical support solutions, and are seeking dedicated Logistics Specialists to join our team in Huntsville, AL. We specialize in supporting Army aviation programs by providing comprehensive logistics services, ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of critical aviation assets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform logistics analyses, support strategic planning, maintain/update information management systems, and providing other logistics, acquisition, and materiel fielding support related to AMSA.
  • Perform technical analyses and provide multi-functional logistics support related to AMSA.
  • Support life cycle management actions, provide technical expertise to conferences/briefings to include on-site creation and delivery of high-quality graphics and briefing material and tracking of action items.

Requirements:

  • Possess an Army Aviation Logistics or Maintenance background with strong knowledge of the H-60 and Lakota fleets.
  • Comprehensive understanding of aviation maintenance management; supply chain management; automated information systems; Army aviation logistics processes, tools and documents; data standardization, equipment fielding and training; and system sustainment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the IPS elements: Product Support Management; Design Interface; Sustaining Engineering; Supply Support; Maintenance Planning and Management; Packaging, Handling, Storage, & Transportation; Technical Data; Support Equipment; Training and Training Support; Manpower and Personnel; Facilities and Infrastructure; and Computer Resources.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, plan, schedule, coordinate, and manage assigned area of responsibility with quality results.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and interact professionally with a diverse group of individuals.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Active DoD SECRET Security Clearance.
  • Perform services within the Continental US (CONUS) or outside the Continental US (OCONUS).
