Position Summary:
The Lockwood Group is looking to hire Logistics Management Specialist with a focus in Foreign Military Sales to support the Army's Strategic and Operational Rockets and Missiles (STORM) Project Office in Huntsville, AL. 

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Experience in support of signed Partner Nations Project Agreements and FMS Cases.  The Specialist will also require experience with fielding a complex and major weapon system. 
  • Specialist will be responsible for development and maintain FMS logistics documentation and records to include but not limited to materiel fielding plans, interagency support agreements, comprehensive cost and requirement records, and Interactive electronic manuals. 
  • The specialist will also be providing technical guidance and review of all required FMS/Cooperative Programs HIMARS, M270, and Munitions as it pertains to the mission. 
  • Specialist will furthermore be responsible for coordination or transportation requirements directed from specified FMS and Cooperative cases. 
  • Specialist will also provide regular and recurring inputs to contract documentation and actions such as Reviews Letter of Request (LORs), Letter of Acceptance (LOAs), Price and Availability (P&A s), Request of Magnitude (ROM), quotes, proposals, Statements of work and technical evaluations. 
  • This specialist will be required to travel and conduct hands on materiel fielding and new equipment training where the employee will be expected to pick up items heavier than 50lbs at times.  Logistics and fielding support is a tedious task that will require focus and dedication by the logistics management Specialist.
  • Will analyze and provide:  recommendations for fielding and modifications activities; engineering, supply, maintenance, and logistics documents preparation; logistics support during all phases of the system life cycle in garrison and deployments.
Job Requirements
  • Required to travel and conduct hands on materiel fielding and new equipment training where the employee will be expected to pick up items heavier than 50lbs at times.
  • BS Degree and 2-8 years of relevant experience required.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance
