Position Summary
The Lockwood Group is looking for a Senior Logistics Analyst to provide additive manufacturing support to our Army customer.
This position will perform as a Logistics Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting the U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command (AMCOM) Advanced Manufacturing Program addressing national level aspects of Army Organic Advanced Manufacturing with Aviation and Missile systems and formations.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Analyze and provide recommendations on proper course of action and priority to resolve ad-hoc operational, systemic, and procedural for maintenance analysis and sustainment issues.
  • Participate in face-to-face meetings with customers to receive feedback on logistics support, market new ideas, and ensure alignment with customer needs.
  • Identify, document, and implement candidates for fabrication using advanced manufacturing techniques for weapon system use, while respecting and protecting the intellectual property investment of the Original Equipment Manufacturers and vendor partners.
  • Ensure valid needs must be validated with analysis of materiel availability, backorder status, and order volume while keeping in mind that parts via the advanced manufacturing program will supplement, and not substitute the supply chain.
  • Assist the office in developing a list of questions, including Logistics assessment considerations to identify criteria required for AdvM.
  • Perform Log assessment on all potential candidates; maintaining/updating status for the MS Team Tracker; maintaining/updating/tracking status of AM parts as they move through the COP critical path; and supporting the government IPT Lead on daily assignment/action items as required, as well as updating the AdvM COP data call and Facer slides for AMCOM/HQ AMC leadership.
  • Utilize the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) databases and make updates as required.
  • Develop codes using the SAS tool program by extracting data and building reports in support of the analysis review and validation of the LSA-019 Report.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge and experience working with Army and DOD databases to extract data for analysis.
  • Working knowledge of Army Database software applications such as ULLS-A, ACN, LMP, GCSS-A.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to effectively communicate through both oral and written communication between multiple stakeholders both government and contractor.
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office software suite
Salary
  • 90k to 100k
