The Lockwood Group is looking to hire an Acquisition Logistics Specialist to provide product and logistics support for our Army customer in Picatinny, NJ.

Responsibilities:

  • The role involves running the supportability IPT, creating lots of different documentation such as the Life Cycle Sustainment Plan and Memorandums of Notification. 
  • Managing the transition to Sustainment, Developing the Core Depot Analysis and Level of Repair Analysis, and much more. 
  • Experience in analyzing total life cycle sustainment costs.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing, writing, and maintaining the Life Cycle Sustainment Plan and associated annexes.
  • Experience in integrating, collaborating, and synchronizing the development of Technical Manuals, Training Support Plans, Maintenance Engineering efforts, provisioning parts lists, repair parts, special and unique tools, and test equipment.
  • Supports with minimal government oversight, the coordination and planning of an Army Tactical Software program baseline Logistics Demonstration including but not limited to In-Progress Reviews (IPR’s) with key stakeholders
  • Develops execution schedules and manages critical path events and anticipates/ identifies risk areas
  • Reviews the task analysis list
  • Develops and coordinates fault list based on training plans, TBs, and TMs
  • Develops Log Demo plan

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, and at least 7 years of relevant experience
  • Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • Background / knowledge of the integrated product support elements (AR 700-127)
  • Knowledge of Army Acquisition processes.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
