Position Summary:
The Lockwood Group is seeking a Logistics Analyst - Supply Chain Management to support Army aviation readiness efforts based in Huntsville, AL. The ideal candidate will provide end-to-end logistics and supply chain expertise in support of the Apache Attack Helicopter (AAH), focusing on inventory control, sustainment strategies, procurement planning, and readiness reporting. 

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serve as the supply chain subject matter expert supporting the Apache platform, including major subsystems and components.

  • Coordinate with OEMs, depots, and Army stakeholders to ensure availability and delivery of repair parts, kits, and assemblies.

  • Analyze and maintain supply data related to AAH parts demand, usage rates, lead times, and repair cycles.

  • Develop and update Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) documentation, provisioning data, and maintenance planning related to AAH supply chain elements.

  • Track and resolve DLR (Depot Level Repairables) and NSN (National Stock Number) issues, ensuring alignment with Army supply policies and procedures.

  • Support fielding, reset, and retrograde operations, including materiel distribution and coordination with AMC and other logistics agencies.

  • Assist in the development of performance-based logistics (PBL) metrics, supply availability forecasts, and sustainment readiness reports.

  • Provide support to PMO briefings, product reviews, audits, and special logistics taskers.

  • Engage directly with field units to assess supportability, validate on-hand inventories, and document field issues affecting supply chain effectiveness.

  • Travel up to 50% to support on-site assessments, fielding activities, and coordination with forward units and OEMs.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Army aviation logistics, supply chain management, or sustainment operations.

  • Demonstrated experience with Army weapon systems logistics—experience with Apache Attack Helicopter (AH-64) sustainment is strongly preferred.

  • Familiarity with Army logistics systems such as GCSS-Army, LMP, AESIP, LIW, and provisioning tools.

  • Proven ability to analyze supply trends and develop actionable logistics recommendations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills for data analysis and tracking.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of developing technical documentation and presenting to Army leadership.
  • ​​​​​​​Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and support a dynamic and mission-critical program.
  • ​​​​​​​Active Secret Clearance
Salary
  • $70,000 to $90,000
