Position Overview
The Lockwood Group is growing rapidly in our support for Federal Government customers.  We are seeking a highly professional Administrative Assistant to join our growing and dynamic team in Belcamp, MD.  This individual would support the HR, Security and Travel departments.

Job Responsibilities:
Human Resources
  • Trained on individual on the on-boarding processes
  • Create HR files for new hires
  • Track and pursue new hire paperwork
  • Prepare new hire clothing for mailing
  • Maintain inventory for TLG clothing
  • Upload pictures in badge website for TLG badges
  • Reformat resumes
  • Send out and track resume updates
  • Train individual on Security requirements
  • Make Security files for new hires
  • Track and chase new hire paperwork
  • Prepare and submit security spreadsheets
  • Take Assistant FSO Training Courses (20 courses)
  • Prepare CAC Requests
  • Prepare Campus Badge Requests
  • Travel support to company executives for booking and expense reports
  • Backup for travel to the Travel Administrator
Job Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required. AA or BS degree is preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience as an administrative assistant, office manager, or executive assistant
  • Experience in Human Resource administration functions
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Current or Inactive Secret clearance required
  • Previous experience with a DOD contractor highly preferred
