Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Logistician with expertise in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing logistics processes within the Program Executive Office Command, Control, and Communications-Tactical (PEO C3T) environment. The primary focus will be on continuous action within PEO, collaborating with the Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP) and ensuring effective Supply Discrepancy Reports (SDRs) resolution under the Army Equipment Visibility (AEV) Real-Time In-Transit Visibility (RIC) Owner.
Responsibilities:
- SDR Resolution and Role Establishment:
- Work collaboratively with PEO to resolve SDRs under AEV RIC Owner.
- Establish roles (Action Officer, Validator, and APO Approver) for auditability within PEO.
- Validation of Quantities:
- Validate quantities from vantage data to Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Warehouse Management System (WMS) or Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) / Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) system of record.
- Utilize access and navigation skills within WMS, DSS, and LMP.
- Manual Adjustments:
- Make manual adjustments for any inventory discrepancies found, aligning the system of records and LMP.
- Perform manual adjustments for PEO C3T to rectify inventory issues.
- Stock Movement:
- After manual adjustments, move PM-identified stock to U0B (transfer) and U06 (disposal) project codes.
- Possess the skill set to perform these actions, which PEO C3T currently lacks.
- Inventory Grouping:
- Sort inventory into Groupings, including Other Managed, Disposal, DEMIL determination, and ICP RIC B16.
- Demonstrate expertise in categorizing and handling various types of inventory.
- Extrapolation and MILSTRIP Process:
- Further extrapolate actions from established groupings using standard MILSTRIP processes or background FTP/FTA in LMP.
- Coordinate actions related to disposal, DEMIL, and transfer, ensuring accurate processing.
- DEMIL and Funding:
- Determine DEMIL requirements and funding responsibilities (PEO or LCMC).
- Manage DEMIL processes, including disposal preparation and funding for DEMIL activities.
- CC H and DISPOSAL:
- Handle CC H processes for DEMIL or preparation for disposal.
- Oversee the disposal process, tracking inventory removal from LMP.
- ZDEWs (ZSTO):
- Manage ZDEWs (ZSTO) processes, especially if COMSEC is involved in the DEMIL process.
- Coordinate funding responsibilities for COMSEC-related DEMIL activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics operations and ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and supply chain processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and lead process improvements.
