The Lockwood Group is currently recruiting a Systems Engineering Branch / Formal Systems Engineer
to support our C4ISR customer at Aberdeen Proving Ground.
Duties/Minimum Required Qualifications:
Experience with US Army Common Operating Environment “COE” initiatives and the PEO C3T and PM MC portfolio helpful. Candidate should have a working knowledge and subject matter expertise pertaining to providing support for systems engineering data design reviews, modeling system behavior through functional flows and descriptions, development of interface control documents and interface description documents. Candidate must additionally have experience leading the execution of IPRs, PDRs, CDRs and CDRL reviews. Candidate should have knowledge of Systems Engineering processes, including Requirements Development, Verification, Validation, and Traceability and a basic understanding of the army acquisition process. Incumbent should be well versed in the Risk Management process and understand the process of Risk Identification, Risk Impact or Consequence, Risk Prioritization and Risk Mitigation planning.
3. Certification(s) Required:
No special certifications required
Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Sciences or Information Technology or similar)
- 2-4 years of experience using requirements management software such as DOORS or Jama.
- Master’s degree in Systems Engineering or related Engineering discipline is a plus.
- Experience with risk management is a plus
- Experience with DoD practices.
- Experience with military C4 systems.
