What we are looking for?
The Lockwood Group, originally founded as a family startup, is now a mature rapidly growing provider to the DOD and Federal Government seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to support delivery efforts across the company’s growing portfolio of programs.
This is a great opportunity to grow with us and be rewarded along the way helping us to recruit the best talent in the industry. We are building out our team across our geographic regions; therefore, candidates can live within 60 miles of the following company locations: Belcamp, MD, Philadelphia, PA or Huntsville, AL.
This position will be directly responsible for:
Leading recruiting searches for the company.
Independently establish and manage the recruiting processes, workflow, and metrics.
Manage third-party recruiting partner for as needed surge support.
Promotion of Company Values and Culture to all new candidates while being key partner for new employees transitioning into the organization.
Continually review and interview applicants for current and future job openings.
Continually screen resumes within our in-house ATS software program in accordance to job requirements.
Source job search websites for potential recruits.
Conduct candidate interviews.
Coordination for pre-interview and interviews with hiring managers for job openings.
Serve as an employee advocate for new hires as well as established employees.
Authoring new job descriptions and posting to all appropriate websites.
Support the Program Management team in coordination of staffing across all programs.
Work alongside our HR/Talent Management team to ensure all candidates have a full lifecycle experience from start to finish with the company.
Interest in continuing to grow People, Talent Acquisition and Talent Management knowledge base to grow within the department.
Seeking self-motivated growth oriented candidates with 5-10 years of full life cycle recruiting/talent acquisition experience with an entrepreneurial mindset.
