Position Summary: The Lockwood Group is looking to hire an Assistant Project Manager (Journeyman Manager) to work for our client located at the Coast Guard Installation at St. Elizabeth’s in Washington DC.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This role will serve as a back-up to the Project Manager.
Clearance Required: SF85
4 years of relevant experience plus an Associate’s Degree, or
3 years of relevant experience plus a Bachelor’s Degree, or
1 year of relevant experience plus a Master’s Degree, or
5 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Relevant experience consists of Project Management assistance including execution, coordination and tracking multiple projects.
Ability to conduct research and analysis of technical data.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Highly desired: Certification as Project Management Professional (PMP).
