Overview
The Lockwood Group is currently pursuing a contract providing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Services and Configuration Management (CM) Support Services for PMA-205 Aviation Training Systems programs. We are seeking a Senior Logistics Specialist for our NAVAIR customer located at Patuxent River, MD. .

Job Responsibilities and Experience
  • Supports PMA-205 PSM, ITTR IPT APMLs, Deputy APMLs, and LEMs. Performs various tasks related to the development, acquisition, operation, evaluation, and improvement of training systems and training ranges supportability.
  • Provides integrated logistics support to logistics and maintenance control organizations on issues such as: technical evaluation and identification of training systems and training ranges logistics requirements and resources; development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans; systems acquisition requirements analysis; budgetary or financial analysis and control; life cycle cost analysis and control; training systems hardware and software standardization and compatibility; Integrated Product Support (IPS)/Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) program test and evaluation planning and execution; and, ILS/R&M program management analysis. Collects, compiles, analyzes, investigates, researches, or applies logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information.

Requirements
  • At least six (6) years of experience in acquisition logistics support or maintenance engineering. A minimum of four (4) years of specific experience in technical analysis of logistics acquisition requirements analysis as well as experience demonstrating ability to independently perform ILS studies, analysis, and evaluations in support of DoD weapons systems or equipment, both air vehicle and avionics. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: A Society of Logistics Engineers (SOLE) Logistician certification program as a Demonstrated Master Logistician (DML), plus three (3) additional years of recent experience in acquisition logistics support or maintenance engineering.
  • Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills. 
  • Must be able to possess an active SECRET Clearance.
