Program Manager - National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE) DHA

Overview
The Lockwood Group is currently pursuing a contract providing program management support services to the National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE) under the Defense Health Agency (DHA) in Bethesda, MD. We are seeking a Program Manager with experience supporting the DHA with the planning, coordination, and management of headquarters level strategy program oversight, plans and policies.

Summary
This program provides intensive outpatient evaluation, advanced diagnostics, initial treatment plans, treatment modalities, and long-term follow-up for patients suffering from Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Psychological Health (PH) issues. Using cutting edge evidence-based practice, technology and research tools, the NICoE facilitates maximum recovery for warriors and families, and return to function within their home communities. The NICoE’s mission is to improve the lives of patients and families impacted by TBI through excellence and innovation. Mission success hinges on our ability to train the next generation of providers in the most effective approaches to prevention, detection, and treatment options.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct, or coordinate the operations of public or private sector organizations. Duties and responsibilities include formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources.
  • Provide management, direction, administration, clerical support, documentation, quality assurance, and leadership during the execution of the contract.
  • Interface with Government management personnel, formulate and enforce work standards, create personnel and project schedules, review work discrepancies, and communicate Government policies, purposes, and goals to the contractor team.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience supporting the DOD or DHA
  • Desired: Experience supporting NICoE
  • Desired: Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Secret Clearance
