Overview:
The Lockwood Group is currently pursuing an Army contract providing operations and maintenance support, and logistics support to the Environmental Air Monitoring (EAM) Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) program. EAM is currently operated and maintained on United States Military Installations throughout the Republic of Korea (ROK). We are looking to identify a Top Secret IT Specialist to work on software installed on local, classified enclaves of networks, to include Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System- Korea (CENTRIXS-K).
Essential Job Functions: (not limited to duties as described – performs related duties as requested)

Plans, coordinates, employs CBRN IT systems similar to; Joint Effects Model (JEM), Joint Warning and Reporting Network (JWARN), Signal Fire (SF) network, JWARN Web Access servers as well as CENTRIXS-K with elevated privilege, CBRN Information System (CBRN IS).

Installs, configures and troubleshoots data center environments.

Sets up, manages, administers, and troubleshoots networks; CISCO systems, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Security+ certifications.

Administers web-based application servers including; Java Application Servers (Tomcat 7/8), Internet Information Services (IIS) 7+, Eclipse Jetty 8+ (or later), ActiveMQ, Apache Karaf, Equinox (OSGi Technology).
Tasks:.

Analyzing system logs, performing routine system audits, performing system backups/recoveries as required, installing and configuring new hardware and software, and applying system updates including patches and license renewals.

Evaluating and improving system performance, ensuring deployed systems are appropriately hardened to pass cyber security accreditations, providing support for government staff at training and exercise events, and providing help desk and technical support functions such as account maintenance and end user support.

Managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure in a Virtual Data Center environment.
