The Lockwood Group delivers mission readiness.
Requirements:
Initializing, placing into operation and the troubleshooting software interfaces of specific C5ISR communication system being supported.
C5ISR system training; experience in the preparation and conduct of military training doctrine (e.g. preparation of Programs of Instruction, Lesson Plans); assist new users with managing system requirements to include data management, data recovery, and techniques to operate/maintain records; provide over the shoulder tech assist or training, troubleshoot, software installation, software updates, and software fixes and be capable of being able to provide other required support.
Performs systems’ software installation, configuration, and maintenance of CECOM C5ISR Families of Systems.
Responsible for backup and disaster recovery of Linux and Windows operating systems.
Able to perform software, hardware, and network troubleshooting and problem identification and resolution.
Assists Information Assurance staff with all documentation required for accreditation and any other associated directives and regulations.
Participates in special projects as required.
Performing analyses of system operations.
Primarily supports software family of systems - Tactical Intelligence Family of Systems: GWS, IFS, P-MFWS, TGS, Prophet Spiral I, and CDSS.
Primary system supported is Distributed Common Ground Station-Army (DCGS-A) Family of Systems.
Desired Qualifications:
AA/AS, 5+ years experience
Must have a current and active TS/SCI Clearance and current Security + certification.
Experience with Microsoft Windows/Linux/VMWare server and client software, patching, upgrading, and maintenance experience.
Knowledge of client and server software interaction including web-based application design, support, and integration.
Has experience with remote system administration software.
Military experience is desirable.
Understanding of networking principles and system network configuration.
Security + Certification or equivalent.
