Training Developer

Position Summary
The Lockwood Group is seeking a  Senior Training Manager to direct, develop, and lead training documentation development implementation efforts for Army Weapon Systems to support our Army customer at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and revise training materials/courses, using instructional system design & development (ISD) methodology.

  • Formulate teaching outlines and determine instructional methods and utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness.

  • Develop and select training aids, such as multimedia visual aids, and training handbooks.

  • Test students to measure progress and evaluate effectiveness of such training.

  • Plans, develops, and supports new and existing training programs and makes recommendations to improve program effectiveness.

  • Develops and proposes creative methods and approaches to increase productivity through training initiatives.

  • Supports all training and training support programs, coordinates activities related to training and training support, and identifies resources necessary to accomplish program objectives.

  • Supports the development, integration, implementation, and execution of the training support missions providing operational planning, coordination, and training support across multiple CONUS and OCONUS locations.

  • Supports the planning, coordination, creation, and update of computer-based training (CBT) products, new equipment training (NET) training support packages, quick reference guides, Instructor Key Personnel training, and interfaces with external agencies such with TRADOC, the Army Capability Manager, and CASCOM. 

  • Support tasks related to training to include technical manual activities to include Validations/Verifications, Logistics Demonstrations, etc. 

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of relevant training manager experience.

    • Or a High School Diploma/GED, and at least 10 years of training manager experience.

  • Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance.
